Moncton High School News!

MHS is participating in the Canadian Blood Services Young Blood campaign this year. If you would like to help with their number of donations, please mention that you are with Moncton High Young Blood the next time you are in to donate.

On Saturday October 7th from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, MHS is hosting a Drive 4 UR School Event.  Come out and take a test drive in a 2018 Ford and raise funds for a great cause at the same time.  There will also be a BBQ as well as some other special events.

Have you ever dreamed of starting and running your own business? Junior Achievement’s Company Program gives you the opportunity to start your own business with your friends under mentorship of volunteers of the local business community! Learn about marketing, finance and even earn a paycheque at the end of the program! This after school program is free of charge to all students in grades 9 through 12.

The JA company program takes place on Wednesday nights starting October 11th from 6:30pm-9:00pm at Crandall University and is open to all high school students.

This evening will cover information on considering post-secondary, discussions on financing post-secondary and an outline on things to prepare for throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. Some information will be available at if a parent and student are unable to attend.

MHS is pleased to host its 5th annual “Girls Knight Out”, on Thursday, November 9th from 4-9pm. We want to start the year off with this wonderful event to encourage female identifying students to support one another and to build lasting relationships. The students are encouraged to bring their female role models to take part in the evening and to share in the excitement.

This fun-filled night involves community partnerships and encompasses activities, pampering, education, team building, nutritious food and much more.

If anyone from the community would like to take part, they are welcome to contact the MHS guidance team.

Please save the date and we look forward to seeing you there.
