Respect and Diversity

This week Sunny Brae students celebrated diversity and respect. On Tuesday, students and staff wore multi colours to show their support for diversity. On Thursday, the leadership crew came around classrooms with special treats for all students. During this week, students learned that diversity is not just about the colour of your skin or your culture, it can also be about the colour of your hair or the clothing we wear and we should respect each person's diversity.

Sunny Brae Fundscrip Fundraiser

Once again, the school is having our Fundscrip fundraiser.  Fundscrip provides gift cards for 100’s of retailers such as Sobey’s, Superstore, Esso, Shell, restaurants and more.  For every gift card that is purchased the retailer gives a percentage back to the school. For the next two weeks, we will be collecting orders for gift cards.  The Order will be placed on Monday December 7th to make sure that the gift cards are in before Christmas break.  Spread the word around.  The nice thing about this fundraiser, you are buying gift cards for things you use every and at the same time you are helping the school. You can check out the following website to see a list of retailers.
