On Monday, April 24th, Leadership students prepared a meal for the Ronald McDonald Room located in the Moncton Hospital. Students made chicken casserole, garden salad and Hershey Kiss cookies. Students volunteer with the Home for Dinner program, which allows family members to stay close to their loved ones while they're receiving treatment at the hospital.
On Sunday, June 11th, join Bessborough's Leadership students at Centennial Park for the first annual Rise and Shine PJ Walk for Kids in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic programs. Start the morning with a Pancake Breakfast, then walk 1km or 3km in your PJs and enjoy en route entertainment. Register at rmhatlantic.ca.
On Wednesday, April 26th, 11 of Bessborough's Leadership students participated in a Play Your Part leadership workshop hosted by Right to Play. The Play Academy is a full day workshop that empowers students to become leaders through developing facilitation skills and learning through play.
