This week we were very excited to have 38 chickens hatch in our grade k/1 classroom. One of our parents, Daniel Sinclair, setup the incubator in the classroom with 42 eggs. The students learned all about the process and phases of chickens as they developed from eggs to live chickens. The students were thrilled with 38 chickens came out of the incubator and into their larger holding tub until they went home on Thursday May 18th. Special thanks to Mr. Daniel Sinclair for his willingness to teach the students about chickens.
