Harrison Trimble High School News!

Trimble is very proud to announce that 16 of our students from grade 10 to 12 who have shown a keen interest in Entrepreneurship and business in general, many of whom are currently pursuing their own ventures or who are planning to pursue commerce after graduation, will be taking part in an intensive 2 day experience at the Venn Center in downtown Moncton November 21st and 22nd. This session will be led by the people at Entrepreneurship New Brunswick and the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge and will be facilitated by a number of business people and Entrepreneurial mentors from our community. Over the two days students will go through the process of idea generation, planning, pitching, validating and pivoting real ideas which can be pursued in our school and community. We were successful in receiving grant money through the Canada 150 Entrepreneurship application process, this along with the gracious donations of time and resources will make this fantastic experience possible!

Next Thursday, November 16, Chapters in Dieppe will be hosting Trimble’s 3rd Annual Literacy Night.  Come on out and help to support classroom libraries and the purchase of books in  our school. It’s also a great time to start your Christmas shopping and enjoy a beverage at Starbucks.  Entertainment will also be provided by Trimble students.

At our first family donaation night, Harrison Trimble had nine successful blood donations. Thanks to the staff and parents who braved the wet weather and turned out to give their time as well as the gift of life.
