Popcorn Day is on Thursday, Nov. 23rd.
Report cards go home to grade 1-5 students on Friday, Nov. 24th. Please review with your children their goals and accomplishments this first term.
Frank L. Bowser Playground Project is now one year in to their endeavor to
replace the aging All World Super Play Park. After much consultation with the
children, parents, and community we have used their input to narrow down the
selection of a builder to two candidates. Both companies are committed to our
vision of keeping the same look and feel as the current play park and
incorporating elements of accessibility and inclusiveness. This is a very
join us on Sunday November 19th for our family friendly VIP Night at the
Riverview Lions Club (7:00pm-8:00pm) where we will do a presentation on the
vision we have, the progress we have made, and our fundraising
is a great opportunity to speak with members of our committee and share stories
from the original build back in 1994. We will have photo albums, slide shows,
and memories to share from the community effort nearly 25 years ago. Come relive
The All World Super Play Park at FLB is planned to be
replaced in the summer of 2018. Last
year our FLB Playground Project committee
solicited feedback from the students, parents, and teachers alike; one thing
was very clear, they all want something with a similar look and feel. We have started the process of fundraising,
and we are kicking off this school year by partnering with the Riverview Lions
Club to put on a Chase the Ace. Tickets
will be available Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Five Bridges
Pub, and Sundays from 6pm-8pm at the Riverview Lions Club. The draws will take place every Sunday at
8:15pm at the Lions Club hall. For full
