November 24th is Popcorn and PJ or Jersey day at Bessborough School. Funds
raised will be used to purchase turkeys for the annual Sue Stultz Turkey Drive.
Monday, November 27th, Bessborough Leadership students will be volunteering in
the Ronald McDonald Room
located in the Moncton Hospital. Students volunteer with the Home for Dinner
program which allows family members to stay close to their loved ones while
they receive treatment at the hospital.
Thursday, November 30th, 30 of Bessborough's Leadership students will be
travelling to Halifax for WE
Day Atlantic. Beginning as a single event nearly ten years ago,
WE Day has evolved into a series of 19 stadium-sized events held across the
United States, Canada, the UK and the Caribbean. This past year, 200,000
students attended WE Day and left inspired to create change both locally and

Sue Stultz Turkey Drive Kickoff Assembly
Bessborough School is proud to host the annual kickoff event for the Sue Stultz
& Local 999 Moncton Firefighter Association Turkey Drive. The assembly will be held on November 29th at
10:45am in our gymnasium.
Belliveau Orchards Pie, Cider & Apple
Fundraiser Fundraiser order forms went home earlier this week for our annual
pie, cider and apples order from Belliveau Orchards. All pricing is listed on the order form and
orders are due on or before November 30th.
Payment via school cash online will be active by noon on November
24th. Delivery is scheduled for the
afternoon of December 12th during the Christmas Concert.
Ring A Bell For Mental Health Event
On Monday, November 27th, we will be kicking off Ring A
Bell for Mental Health Week with a visit from our local MLA and Minister of
Finance, the Hon. Cathy Rogers. Minister Rogers will also take some time to
visit classes to discuss her role in government and the importance of mental
Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent teacher interviews are scheduled for November 30th
from 6-8pm and on December 1st from 1-3pm.
Teachers may schedule additional times at their discretion outside of
these times as well. Information on how
to access an interview time will be sent home by your child's teacher. There will be no school for students on
December 1st as there is Professional Learning led by the Department of
Education and Early Childhood during the morning and parent teacher interviews
in the afternoon.
