Online Auction at Lou MacNarin School

Our community is working to build our play environments and we are hosting an online auction to help raise funds for this project.  Please visit https://www.32auctions.com/loumacnarin2017 to view the items that are up for bidding. We would appreciate our friends sharing this on social media to help support our efforts to provide our children with exciting learning opportunities.  The auction opens on December 2 and will close on December 5 ath 9  PM.  We would like to extend our appreciation to our school community families and businesses that made generous donations for the auction.

Hunger Heroes

This year, as part of an ongoing Deep Learning Project, our school community is working to provide help for families in need.  We are hosting a number of activities to help raise funds for this project, which is designed to engage our children in social justice projects that are focused on helping in our community throughout the year.  The Hunger Heroes project is headed by Mrs. Cail and Mrs. Steeves, and is intended to help our children to be more aware of the needs in our community and to work together to help others.  We will have a number of activites planned for the week of December 4th to help raise awareness and funding for the project that was kicked off at our Student of the Month Assembly.  Activities this week include; Monday - Crazy Hair Day, Tuesday - PJ Day, Wednesday - Jersey Day, Thursday - Green and Yellow Day, Friday - Hat Day.  Children may bring in a cash donation or a non-perishable food item instead of a cash donation.  The Hunger Heroes will be creating Food Boxes for families in our community and delivering them before the winter holiday.
