Harrison Trimble’s drama club has been working hard on two
plays since the new year, which they will be presenting at the provincial Drama
Fest competition on May 11.
These plays will also be performed for the general public on
May 15 at the Harrison Trimble auditorium, 80 Echo Drive in Moncton. Twitch,
written by Stephen Gregg, and directed by grade 12 drama student Lucy Higgins,
is a comedy that tells the rather unbelievable tale of a couple who find out maybe
a little too much information about their new neighbours. Door to
Door, written by Flipp Kobler and Cindy Marcus, and directed by drama
teacher/advisor Emily Loewen, is a poignant comedy about the many doors we must
go through in our lives, both literal and metaphorical.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.harrisontrimble.ca; at the
Harrison Trimble main office, or at the door - $8 for students and seniors, and
$10 for adults. The performance starts at
7PM on May 15, with doors opening at 6:30.
