The Anglophone East School District will be hosting a ‘Community Connections Meet and Greet’ event on May 12th, 2018, from 9am - 12pm. This event is designed to allow families to connect with community agencies and organizations that help support student with exceptionalities in their transition to life after high school. Everyone is encouraged to come and learn more about the supports available in the Greater Moncton Area. School and district staff will be on hand to help guide families throughout the morning. Our Keynote speaker is a local parent who describes her experience with the process. Inclusion Advocacy and the New Brunswick Association of Community Living will also provide key information on the transitioning process in their presentations. In addition to the speakers, there will be approximately thirty booths representing various community organizations where parents/guardians can gather more information.
