On Sunday, June 10th, over 40 of Bessborough's Leadership students volunteered at the second annual PJ Walk for Kids. Moncton alone raised over $48,843 for a grand total of $230,453 from across the Maritimes, all in support of families with sick children. These funds will help support the 2,220 families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House or use Family Rooms each year.

Friday, June 15th, is Popcorn and PJ Day at Bessborough! Leadership students will sell popcorn for $1. All funds raised will support local and global non-profit charities.

On Monday, June 18th, Leadership students will be preparing a meal for the Ronald McDonald Room located in the Moncton Hospital. Students volunteer with the Home for Dinner program, which allows families to stay close to their loved ones while they receive treatment at the hospital.

Wednesday, June 20th, will be the annual Math Olympics at Bessborough. Students in grades 5-8 work in teams and rotate through stations to solve various problems. The winning team will be recognized during our year end assembly on June 22nd.
