AHM Voicemail for Thursday June 1st
We announced last week that our building would be gaining two additional portables for the next school year.  In order to make this possible, removal of some current equipment and construction needs to begin tomorrow.  For that reason, the playground will be off limits tomorrow and on the weekend.  All students will need to enter the school in the morning via the front doors, it will be an indoor recess day for all, and all students will be dismissed via the front doors of the building for Friday only.  We would also ask that as parents you refrain from loitering in the area after dismissal and after school hours so that the construction crews can perform their job as safely and as quickly as possible.  As we move forward with the construction we may need to make other adjustments as there are needed.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please note that there will be no option of placing cafeteria orders online after Friday June 9th.  The cafeteria will remain open until Friday June 16th.  Please note that the main meal may be altered on some days pending what is available in the pantry.

The Pre-K Orientation for next year’s Kindergarten students will take place on Wednesday June 7th.  This means that there will be no school for our current Kindergarten students on that day.

Family Fun Day is fast approaching.  The Home and School Committee has been busy planning our annual event which will be held on June 9th from 4-7pm - a notice was sent home last week with lots of details, it is guaranteed to be a fun time!  There will be bouncy castles, face painting, BBQ and much more. If you are interested in volunteering for an hour that evening please contact Trina Bland at 961-2598.

The Jump Rope for Heart envelopes will be mailed tomorrow.  If you still haven’t brought yours in, this is your last chance.

Mrs. Collette is asking for all Library books to be returned by Friday June 9th.  Please check under the beds and in your bookcases for any of our AHM Library books.  We appreciate your help.
