Tomorrow, Friday, October 6th, we will launch our annual Magazine and Cookie-Dough campaign. It will run until October 23rd.  The cookie dough will arrive at the school around November 16th – in lots of time for Christmas baking.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our PSSC – Parent School Support Committee – please contact Mrs. Godfrey at the school.  This committee is a group of parents and community members who work in an encouraging and collaborative fashion with the school principal and staff to ensure the best possible learning opportunities for students at their school.

A reminder to parents and students to review our Student Handbook.  We recommend that students who bring their own vehicle to school NOT provide transportation to other students – especially at noon – and to exercise extreme caution when operating their vehicle.  All passengers must wear a seatbelt when the vehicle is in operation.  In addition, smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted on school grounds or within the Smoke Free Zone.  These expectations have been reviewed with students by their teachers and are clearly outlined in our Student Handbook.

Tomorrow afternoon, Students at Caledonia will participate in the Terry Fox Run.  Students are encouraged to bring a Toonie  for Terry.  Money collected will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Finally – Save the dates – October 26th is the Halloween Dance organized by your Student Council.  The dance begins at 6:30 for Middle School students.  More information will be coming your way soon.

Thank you very much for listening.  Have a nice evening.
