Please read the following information carefully as it concerns details about important events and activities for December.

Dec. 6th - PSSC Meeting -Our next PSSC Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 pm. The front doors of the school will open at 6:15. All are welcome.

Dec. 9th - Report Cards -We are proud of our Frank L. Bowser Students and of how hard they have been working over the past three months! Report cards will be going home on Friday, December 9th. Along with celebrating your child’s success, strengths and next steps, we encourage you to help them set some academic goals for next term. Parental support is vital to ensuring optimal educational success. Please complete, sign and return the Parent/Student Response form with your child. Thank you for your interest in your child’s education as you work with them at home, volunteer at the school and support our financial endeavors.

December 15th – Santa’s Gift Mart -We are accepting donations for Santa’s Gift Mart. Please send in any new or gently used items, gift wrap, tissue paper, name tags etc. You can send these in with your child or drop them off at the main office. If you are able to volunteer for this event, please return the form sent home or contact the Home and School executive at franklhomeandschool@gmail.com.

Dec. 7th to Dec. 20th - Fill the Bus Food Drive -Frank L. Bowser School is once again participating in the 17th Annual Fill the Bus Food Drive. We ask that students bring in non-perishable food items to help fill the shelves of our local food bank. Food bank usage is up and the need has never been greater. All donations of non-perishable food items go to our Riverview Food Bank serving our very own community.

Dec. 21st – Frank L. Bowser Annual Christmas Concert performances are scheduled for Wednesday, December 21st at 12:20 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. Be on the look-out for a notice with detailed information and 4 concert tickets (2 afternoon tickets and 2 evening tickets) for each family. You can expect this notice to come home on Thursday, December 8th with the youngest child in the family. The storm date for the concert is Thursday, Dec. 22nd.

Dec. 23rd- Christmas Carol Sing-a-long with Barry Williams– for all staff and students from 8:45-9:30am.

Dec. 23rd – Last Day for Students - Friday, Dec. 23rd will be a half day of school for all children. We will send dismissal information home once the bus schedules have been finalized. Tuesday, January 10th is the first day back for students.

It’s cold out there! Remember to send your child to school dressed for the weather and please slowdown in the Kiss and Drop area. Your child’s safety is our priority.
