Good afternoon from Frank L. Bowser School

Good afternoon from Frank L. Bowser School

This is just a quick note to let you know that our Home and School will be selling popcorn tomorrow, Wednesday September 27, in order to help support our Terry Fox initiative this year.  Orders will be taken tomorrow, cost is one dollar a bag, and delivery will be Thursday September 28th.

Our students will be taking part in our annual Terry Fox Walk on Friday September 29th.  Students are asked to bring a Toonie for Terry in order to support a donation from Frank L. Bowser School to the Terry Fox Foundation.  The Toonie however is not mandatory for students to take part in our walk.

Friday September 29th is also Orange Shirt Day throughout the schools in New Brunswick.  Wearing an Orange Shirt or Friday indicates our support to recognize and hold conversations designed to commemorate the residential school experience and to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families.  This initiative will also be supported by an assembly at 12:30 in our Frank L. Bowser Gym along with individual grade level learning designed by Atlantic Educators for Truth and Reconciliation and delivered by the classroom teacher.  If you have any questions regarding this initiative or any other of the wonderful things happening at FLB, please do not hesitate to contact the school directly.

Thanks in advance for your support!
