Here are several important items happening around our
wonderful school over the next little while.
There was information last week sent out regarding the
possibility of welcoming a service animal to our school. After consultation with the program organizer
we have decided not to move forward with this at this time. We will however keep communication open
regarding the time frame of having this step take place at FLB.
Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day. We are recognizing this day by asking
students to wear crazy or interesting socks tomorrow. More information about this day can be found

We will be hosting a playground designer next Wednesday
March 28th in our classrooms.
This is a big and exciting step for the playground initiative and its committee. A representative from the chosen builder will
be here speaking with students throughout the morning on Wednesday and spending
the afternoon putting the suggestions and thoughts together in the form of a
visual plan for our new playground. At
6:30 Wednesday night we will hold an open community meeting here in our Gym
where the designer will unveil a concept drawing and some information regarding
the process of replacing our existing play structure keeping the same feel and esthetic
of our current playground. Please join
us next Wednesday night at 6:30 for this exciting faze of the process. More information will be sent out
individually from the committee in the next couple of days.

Riverview High School’s drama
department will be offering a movie night on Friday March 23rd! We will be
premiering Star Wars Last Jedi. Star
Wars: The Last Jedi builds upon Star Wars history for a more expansive,
high-stakes adventure with plenty of fresh – and classic – elements.. Admission is 5$ minimum donation per person. Bring
the whole family for a great night of food and fun in the Riverview Arts Center
Theater and help support our aspiring actors! Doors open at 6: 15 and the movie
starts at 7:00. Limited seats available - first come first served.
