PSSC (Parent School Support Committee) is looking
for new members. The PSSC is a school community group that has an
advisory relationship with the school principal. They
meet approximately 5 times a year. If you would like to know more about this
role or would like to be a part of this committee, please contact the school.

open throughout the school day (except during early morning arrival
8:15-8:40 when the parking lot door is opened and supervised.)

helps your child get right to school routines and encourages the independence
When entering the school during the day, all visitors are to check in at
the office. We are happy to help in any
way we can.
If at any time you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please
write a note in the agenda the evening before, or call/visit the main office
and the teacher will be notified. Teachers will contact you when they are not
required to be with students. They are
often involved with meetings or other required duties before or after school but
will make it a priority to contact you as soon as possible.
A reminder that supervision does not start until 8:15,
therefore students should not be arriving before this time.
Allergy Alert – Please remember, HES
is a nut free school as we have some students with severe allergies to
nuts. Thank you for helping ensure our
students are safe by not sending food with nut products.
