Dear Parents/Guardians,
November is upon us! What a beautiful fall we are having. Colder temperatures will come! Please see the school closure notice that is also being sent home this week.

We have several events happening this month. First, our annual Remembrance Day assembly will be On Wednesday, Nov. 8th at 11:30. Parents and community are invited to attend. When the veterans finish at CRHS, they will join us at HES. We hope to begin by 11:30am.

On Thursday, Nov. 16th students will enjoy our annual Harvest Lunch. This event is supported by Foods of the Fundy Valley as well as other community members. Our own garden club helped grow the vegetables that will be used for the lunch. Students will also be involved in the food preparation. Thank you to all who help make this happen!

Our fall fundraiser is about to begin. With the help of our Home and School Association, we will be selling Apple Valley pies.  Students will be receiving all the needed information next week. We are looking forward to a successful fundraiser!

Parent/teacher interviews will take place Thursday evening Nov 30th (6:00pm to 8:00pm) and Friday morning Dec. 1st (9:00am to 11:00am). Parents are asked to contact the school beginning the week of Nov. 20th to schedule an interview time.  Schools are closed for students on Friday, Dec. 1st.

Allergy Alert – Please remember, HES is a nut free school as we have some students with severe allergies to nuts.  Thank you for helping ensure our students are safe by not sending food with nut products.
