Trojan Trek and University Information

Good afternoon, this is Tami Van Wart calling on Tuesday, October 10 with some messages for this week.

Trojan Trek is in full swing. Students should have their pledge sheets and are encouraged to get as many pledges as they can. Top prizes are being awarded for individual students and the top raising home room. All money and sheets are due back to the school by 3:30 Wednesday, October 18.

Tomorrow is our annual Trojan Trek walk to the Moncton Hospital. Staff and students have been participating in this yearly event for over thirty years. HTHS has raised more than $200, 000.00 for the Neonatal Unit. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so thru cash on line. Any donation would be appreciated.

Parents and guardians of students of all ages are invited to attend the University & College Education Fair on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, October 18 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Moncton Coliseum. Over 55 university and colleges from Atlantic Canada will have representatives available to answer questions and share information about their programs.

The HTHS girls’ softball team will be heading to provincials this Saturday. They went through their season undefeated. We wish them luck as they play for the banner.

Finally a reminder that progress reports will be sent home on Friday, October 20.

Thank you and enjoy your evening.
