This is Tami Van Wart calling on Friday, October 20 with a couple of announcements.
Today, during our annual Helen and Paris assembly, Student Council presented representatives of the Moncton Hospital with a cheque for $19,000.00. We are so very proud of our Trojan Family
who came together once again for Trojan Trek.
A reminder to all that progress reports will be sent home today. Each student will be receiving 5 reports, one for every class. Each department came up with a progress report which they felt
most accurately reflected your child’s learning at this time. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your child’s teachers. Parent-teacher interviews will be held in our gymnasium on November 9 from 6:00-8:00 and November 10 from 1:00 to
3:00 in the afternoon.
Tomorrow, our girls’ field hockey team compete in regionals. It will be hosted at our very own Woody Hayes Field. The first game is at 10:00. Please come out and support our ladies.
Harrison Trimble is hosting its first ever staff and student-bring-your-parent blood drive at Canadian Blood Services clinic, Mapleton Road, on November 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Students
of our great school who are unable to donate due to age or other restrictions can sign up to bring a parent/guardian/older sibling to give the gift of life on their behalf. Join HTHS staff members as Remembrance Day approaches and we honour those who gave
their lives in service to our country through the simple act of donating blood. There will be a sign-up sheet posted outside of the office area starting this Monday with various appointment times available. Any questions, speak with Trinity Smith, or check
with Mr. McGillivary at the school. Remember – it is in you to give!
Thank you and have a great weekend
