"Market" at Lunch Time next week
Hello Parents of our Middle School Students,
There will be a “market” set up during the lunch time next week.  The Entrepreneurship class does this each year, selling various items that they have made during the high school and middle school lunch times.  We want for you to know that middle school students can purchase these offerings but it is completely optional.  It is not intended to spend lunch money on so please explain this to your sons and daughters. This project involves a business plan, promotion through posters in the school and the “storefront” itself.
Thank you on behalf of the Grade 11 Entrepreneurship class.

Vaccination Forms due Friday for Grade 9 students
In preparation for vaccinations for our Grade 9 students, all permission forms, regardless of the parent's decision about the vaccine, must be returned to the period 5 teacher no later than this Friday, December 8. This will allow for Public Health to plan.  The forms are being sent home with students today.
Thanks for your help with this important immunization session.

Poppy Donations Encouraged
Hello Everyone,
Poppies are going out to our students tomorrow and our Remembrance Day Ceremonies are also taking place the same day for both middle and high schools.  Our Salisbury Legion makes these poppies available and we are hoping again this year to be able to help pay for them through a donation from each student. Last year this school set a new record in poppy donations, all of which went to our local Legion for its community projects.  If you are able to support your sons and daughters with a donation tomorrow, this will surely be appreciated.  We will welcome Legion officials at both of our ceremonies tomorrow.  Thank you very much for any support for the Poppy Fund this year at our school.

No Parking Fire Lane on Douglas Street
Hello Parents, Guardians:
We are urged to communicate the importance of respecting the No Parking Fire Lane on Douglas Street, as indicated by signs and yellow paint. Picking up and dropping off students is convenient in this area but not allowed.   The Fire Dept. needs this area clear at all times to safely leave from and return to the Fire Station with fire fighting equipment.
This link provides further details, as provided recently by the Village and Volunteer Fire Department.
