The cafeteria remains open this week, the last day for food service being the
16th. The menu is limited and we have no on line ordering available.
Thank you to Tammy and Sylvie our great lunch ladies.
This is the last week for breakfast club. We really appreciate our parent
volunteers and their kids who get up early to ensure our students have a
nutritious breakfast each morning.
The Mighty Sprouts are off to Centennial Park on Monday, the Grade 6-7 Explorers
are off to Camp Wildwood on Friday. Please be sure to send your child dressed
for outdoors along with water bottle, sun screen and bug spray.
THANK YOU UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING.
We had a huge day at the school with volunteers from the UNITED WAY including Assumption
Vie, CIBC and Bingham Wright Law. Many projects were completed including the
resurfacing of our baseball diamond, patching of the walking trail, topping off
our jumping pit with sand, building a new sand box for early years students,
cleaning and prepping our flower beds and that was just outside! Inside there
were multiple painting projects and lots of cutting and laminating happening.
All in support of our school. THANK YOU
Special thanks to Modern Construction Crushed Stone, Price Contractors, Green
Diamond Equipment and Quality Concrete for their support.
This is the second volunteer group at the school this year, with NBCC coming in
the fall and again in the spring as part of the Robertson Community Days.
We recycled over 11000 bags during the plastic grab bag challenge, you can see
our video on twitter using the hashtags #PlasticBagGrab #maghill #Walmart
Congratulations to Mrs. Cripps 3-4 class for collecting the most bags. Thank
you to Miss Steeves and Miss Dickson for organizing the event.
The 23rd of June is a ½ day and we will be notifying parents of
pickup times as soon as we hear.
Have a great week.
Mr. Smith and Staff.
