Dear Magnetic Hill Families:
This is our last week before the March Break. A reminder there are no classes
for students the week of March 5-9. When we come back on the 12th
the clocks will have changed back to daylight savings time!
Thank you to everyone who supported our BeccaToldMeTo day at the school. As of
the end of the day we had collected almost $600 in her name. The money will be
given to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital for the Pediatrics Unit.
BeccaToldMeTo books are available to order online through Anglophone East.
This week we have several events planned for students.
Tuesday the grade 4-5 students will be going to see “Mary Poppins” at the
Capitol Theatre. An email has already been sent about this. Students do not
need a permission slip as this is a curricular event.
Wednesday is Pink Day in support of Anti Bullying. Please wear pink on
Wednesday the 28th.
Friday is Magnetic Hill Day. Students and staff will be wearing Magnetic Hill
Wear. If you do not have Magnetic Hill gear you can wear red, blue or white in
support of the school.
Saturday is Trites Maples from 9:30-3 at Trites Maples in
Stilesville. Join us for a sneak peek of what the sugaring off season will hold
at Trites Maple. Enjoy taffy on the snow, musicians in the cook house, coffee,
tea or a treat from the canteen. Come and have a day in the woods with your
family and support the Home and School of Magnetic Hill. Trites Maples is the
4th camp in from the Gorge Road, behind Visions United Church. If you can help
out with baked items, it would be greatly appreciated, please contact the
school for more information.
Our next Home and School Meeting is on Tuesday at 6:30
Our next PSSC Meeting is on Wednesday at 7:00
Have a great week everyone!
Mr. Smith and Staff
