Message from the Principal

Ruth Donald, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed.

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year- a year which is filled with exciting new possibilities.  On behalf of our staff, it is a pleasure to welcome all returning and new students to another school year.  At Marshview Middle School, we strive for excellence.  We appreciate that each child must feel valued and respected.  The school is fueled with a sense of purpose that is supported by educators that will challenge each student to achieve at his/her highest level.
We are fortunate to have a highly qualified, professional, and dedicated staff that is truly committed to providing you, the student, with the best education in a caring environment while meeting all learning needs.  Our school is a place where children come to learn and a place where you feel special surrounded with teachers and staff who truly care about you as individuals and work tirelessly to meet all needs.  As a staff we will make decisions that are data driven to ensure student learning is nothing short of the best we have to offer.
Parents, we greet you as partners in your child’s educational experience.  We strongly encourage you to help in any way whether through volunteering in the classroom, joining the Parent School Support Committee (PSSC), or simply encouraging your child to do his/her best and value the importance of education.  Any contribution you can make is highly valued.  Communication is the key and the lines will always be open.  As a parent or guardian please feel free to contact us any time if you have questions or are looking for opportunities to assist in your child’s education.
