Three new industrial microwaves have arrived and are in the cafeteria for the student’s use.  They seem to be more powerful than the household ones that we were originally using so please discuss this safety issue with your child if they intend to use them.

This is an early notice that February 24th is a Professional Learning Day and that there will be no school for students.

Due to Fire Marshall Regulations - all household microwaves must be removed from the school cafeteria. Beginning on Monday January 23rd, there will be no student access to microwaves to warm food. Please ensure that your child does not require the use of a microwave to eat their lunch. We apologize for this inconvenience. We are looking into a solution.

A reminder to please call the school if your child is to be absent.

Thank you.

MMS News

Good afternoon, a message for our Marshview community.

Just a reminder that the cafeteria is closed this week. The cafeteria will be serving Christmas Dinner for those who have preordered. Because of the large number of dinners ordered, we anticipate that it will take more time than usual for students to be served and seated. For this reason, we are going to start lunch hour at 11:50 tomorrow. At that time the grades 5 and 6 students will go to the cafeteria for lunch. At 12:28 (the usual time) the students in grades 7 and 8 will have their lunch in the cafeteria.

Friday December 23rd will be a half day for students. Busses will depart Marshview at 11:30 a.m. Students return to school on Tuesday January 10th.

Thank you and have a nice evening.
