NORTHROP FRYE SCHOOL

WALK-A-THON

During the month of September, classes will collect pledges and participate in a colour parade on September 28th. Each class will choose a class colour and create a diversity banner to celebrate this year’s school theme, “Better Together”. This will be the school’s major fundraiser of the year.  Fundraising money goes toward playground updating and technology upgrades for grades K-8.

On Friday September 28th students and staff will walk the walking trail parallel to Ryan Street.

Important Details:

  • Collect pledges between September 5th- 26th

  • We do not recommend going door to door for younger children.

  • Deadline for all pledge sheets and money due to your child’s homeroom teacher by September 26th

  • School Cash on-line method is the most convenient way to pledge.

  • Donations can be made in cash, cheque (Northrop Frye School) or on-line via School Cash.

  • Additional pledge sheets are available on-line on our school’s website (Documents Section).

Fundraising Grade Challenge:

Top homerooms in K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 who collect the most amount of pledges will give earn a class lunch (pizza, milk and/or bottled water).

If you have any questions, would like to volunteer or join us for the special walk-a-thon day please contact the main office at 856-3062.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Donna Lagacy                                                          Mrs. Tara Glencross                                                        Mrs. Amie Dorcas
