In reading we will continue to group our children according to learning needs, but will add more specific activities for individuals who are not working with the teacher in a one on one situation. We would also like to increase the amount of reading that is done at home.

For writing we are going to model for each other how a writer’s workshop works and how to assess our students through a conversation format and not only a summative format. We will also look at better ways to demonstrate student progress to each other.

Next year in math we hope to group our k-2 students and possibly k-5 students according to learning needs. This will allow each child to get specific instruction that pertains to their needs.

Next year we will specifically teach the "Zones of Regulation" to all of our students. We will continue with "Fun Friday" and help our other students to develop their ability to manage time and get their work done.
