Next Step, Kindergarten at the Riverview Public Library

The Riverview Public Library will be offering “Next Step, Kindergarten” Wednesday mornings at 10:30am beginning April 5th until April 19th. The program is for children who are starting kindergarten in September 2017 and their parents and will highlight essential skills that children should be familiar with to be ready for their first day of school. This program is centered on play-based learning and will feature stories, games, crafts, and fun! Next Step, Kindergarten will run for three sessions. Registration for this event will begin March 22nd and can be done in person or by calling 387-2108.

A Red Cross Babysitting Course will be taking place at the Riverview Public Library Saturday November 26th from 9am-4pm. The cost of the course is 50$ and spaces are limited. To register please call the library at 387-2108 or come in person.

Are you interested in graphic novels or love to read manga? Are you in grades 7-10? Then come visit the Riverview Public Library Thursday October 20th at 6:30pm to meet local comic book author Larry Higgins and find out all the workings that go in to the making of a comic book/graphic novel. Don’t forget to ask us about our Teen Book Club, where you can explore new books, meet you people, and take part in a ton of cool activities.
