The RMS Chapters FUNdraiser is happening this evening from 6-9pm at Chapters Bookstore.  Bring your family and friends and help us raise money for classroom libraries.

Grade 8 GSA will meet today in Mr. Quiring’s room at 12:15pm

All students participating in the Coffee House are asked to meet in the auditorium today during DSB.  This includes performers as well as volunteers.

Picture re-take orders were due yesterday.  Please bring them to the office asap.  After today a late fee will apply. 

The girls Volleyball team was victorious in its first match of the season as they defeated Bessborough 2 games to 1.  The girls are reminded that they have a practice today from 3:00-4:15pm

A warm welcome to all students who are here for Take Your Kid to Work Day!  We wish you a productive day here at RMS.

Today we also welcome Moncton Magic along with their coach Joe Salerno who will be speaking to RMS students.

RMS teachers who are new to PowerSchool and report cards –there will be a quick intro in Mr. Terry’s room at 2:45.

GSA 6/7 & 8 will combine today from 12:15 – 1:00pm.

Mr. Quiring will be finishing grade 6 talks this week.  All scheduled appointments with individual students will be addressed next week.

Mrs. McGhee’s cooking group is invited to the kitchen during the morning break.

Student Voice students –it’s the first Wednesday of the month so it’s meeting time!  Please meet Mrs. Matthews in the conference room today at 11:00am.

The Mental Health committee did an amazing job volunteering at the Atlantic wellness fundraiser on Saturday.  Special thanks to Ella and Abby for organizing and getting candy for the event.

 

Moncton Magic will be visiting RMS tomorrow morning.  Also, welcome to Joe Grondin who will be visiting RMS tomorrow afternoon to speak with grade 8 students.

 

The ABC will meet in Mr. Quiring’s room today during DSB.

 

Gamma Girls will be meeting today in the regular time and place.

A reminder to students that our drop-off is not out front on Devere Rd., it is now off Pine Glen Rd.

Today is a half day for students.  There will be no DSB today.  We will have periods 6 & 7 before recess and periods 1 & 2 after recess.  Dismissal will be at 11:50 and busses will arrive at 12:00.

Grade 8 graduation hoodies are now available to order.  Please see your homeroom teacher or Mr. Burkett for an order form and additional information.  Orders must be in by Monday October 30th.

Our new RMS student Our new RMS student drop-off started today.  Students, if you are being dropped off in the mornings, please remind your driver that the drop off is now on Pine Glen, not in front of the school.

A reminder that tomorrow is a half day for students due to the afternoon PL session.  Busses will be picking students up at 12:00pm.

The Magazine Campaign’s first collection day was a hit!  We have given out our first LED chicken, which means one student sold over 14 magazines already.  Keep up the good work!
