​A few messages from MCS:

tonight's dinner and dance begins at 5:30 with photos followed by dinner and awards at 6 sharp followed by the dance at 7-8:30.

The K-2 ceremonies will be held on Thursday afternoon beginning at 12:45 in the music room.

Grades 3-8 will have year end  award ceremonies on Friday begining at 9:30.

Friday is half-day for students. Buses leave at 11:30.

Mrs. Toner, Erickson, Britt and Leary have their field trip tomorrow rain or shine.

Grad dinner and dance will begin tuesday at 5:30 for photos, dinner and awards at 6:00 with the dance to follow at 7-8:30.

K-2 year end closing will be on thursday at 12:45 in the music room.

The yearend ceremonies for grades 3-8 will begin at 9:30.  Please note the time change

Buses leave at 11:30 on Friday.

Tomorrow is the Home and School BBQ.

Kingston Peninsula Little League will hold registration on Thursday June 12th for all boys and girls between the ages of 8-13. Registration takes place at Moss Glen starting at 6:30 pm Bring your glove for a warm up game.

Reminder no cafeteria next week.

Grad dinner tickets are on sale at the office for $9 per person.

Middle School field trip is on Friday. Please return your permission slip and trip fee.

Voice Mail re Quebec Trip

​A message from MCS for the Quebec Trip.  Bus is leaving from MCS at 8:00am on Wednesday June 11th. Although the itinerary says 7:30am, it will leave promptly at 8am.

It is expected to be rainy, please remind your students to pack rain gear. 

Pick up at the school is 11pm Saturday June 14th.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call Karen Jones at 763-2726.

The June newsletter is available online and as always a paper copy can be picked up at the office.

Please note the dates and times for events. Grad dinner tickets will be available at the office on Monday. The cost is $9.00 per person for parents and the grad is free.

Kingston Soccer Club is having their Opening Day on Saturday May 31st, 10:30am-noon at the Soccer Field.
 
Please check the Lost and Found. We have many items collected.
 
All Library books are due back on Monday, June 2nd.
 

 

Middle School students will be doing Provincial Assessments next week.  Please come well rested, well fed and ready to do your very best.

​- The Talent Show will be held Wednesday May 28th at 6:30 in the Music Room. Donations will be received at the door for the Relay for Life. The show will feature acts from the middle school; as well as, the Grades 3-5 Choir, Grade 4-5 Pitch Perfect Group, the Grade 5 combined classes and the Middle School Glee Club. Performers are being asked to arrive at 6:00. A letter went home to parents of performers last week.
- Frozen Treat Day tomorrow, Wed. May 28th.  Freezies and Sour Patch Pops $1.00 ea, Cyclones $1.50 ea.  We will have the Frozen Treat Sale every Wednesday until the end of the school year.
- Any money raised by the middle school students for Juvenile Diabetes/Playground fund can be turned into the office by Friday.  Thank you to all students who participated.

​A few messages from MCS: The end of year Talent Show featuring the choir, accapella group and the middle school Glee Club will be held in the Music Room on Wednesday May 28 at 6:30. This is also a fundraiser for the Relay for Life. A donation will be accepted at the door. Elementary wellness surveys were sent home today with grades k-3. Thanks in advance for taking the time to complete and return these by Friday of this week at the latest.

​A few messages from MCS:

Grades 4 and 5 will be bringing home a wellness survey today. It is completely voluntary and anonymous. The children will be doing a survey of similar nature at school this week. This survey provides insight to  NB Elementary Student Wellness . Each year our school receives a grant based on these results. Please consider filling it out and return by Friday of this week. We want to thank you in advance for your participation.

A middle School talent Show will be held on May 28th beginning at 6:30. Admission is $2 and proceeds are for the Relay For Life.

​A few messages from MCS:

Home and School and PSSC meet Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the library. This will be the last formal meeting for the year.

Middle School students wanting to participate in a Bake Sale to be held Saturday Morning at the market must bring a signed permission slip, your baking item and parental involvement. We need at least 1 parent to help out or this will not be possible.

There will be a Frozen Treat sale tomorrow at Lunch recess.
