This is a message from Mrs. Blanchard, Principal at Hampton Elementary School. Here is your weekly edition of the HES Hawk Squawk. We had a great last week of March recognizing Nutrition Month with the theme “Go with the flow, Drink H2O!”. We hope the students learned some new healthy eating practices! Congratulations to the winners of our basket draws for each classroom!

REPORT CARDS: Please remember to sign and return the beige report card envelope as well as the Student and Parent/Guardian Response Form. Thank you to all the families who came to meet with their child’s teacher! This is an important step in our partnership: growing and learning with your child!

LOST AND FOUND: Thank you to those families who took the opportunity to look through the lost and found. There are still many items left unclaimed as evidenced by the picture below. By Friday, April 6th, all remaining items will be packed up and donated.

Childcare in the form of Mindfulness Activities for Kids is available on a limited basis. Parents attending the session who would like their child to be cared for *should* register their child by calling 832-6021. What’s happening in the Community?

I am the Journalism teacher at HHS. My students have created a school and community online magazine called The HHS Chronicle. It is updated weekly on the last school day of each week. I was looking through it today and thought the other schools in our community might be interested in the page as we try to cover a variety of local events and people.
Thank you for your support.
