This is a message from Mrs. Blanchard, Principal at Hampton Elementary School with your weekly edition of the H.E.S. Hawk Squawk. Highlights for this week include: summary of the week, Remembrance Day, Parent Night, Milk Orders and Donation Drive.
REVIEW OF THIS WEEK: Our UNICEF total has surpassed last year’s amount ($218.30) with a new total of $295!
It has been a great week with a beautiful Remembrance Day ceremony on Thursday. Thank you to parents and special guests who were able to join us for this assembly. Also a special thank you to our students who had speaking roles as well as our school choir for leading us with their beautiful voices.

CHOIR NEWS: The H.E.S. choir will meet Sunday at the Hampton Arena at 10:15AM to sing O’Canada and God Save the Queen as part of the Remembrance Day ceremony.

All schools are closed on Monday as the observation of Remembrance Day.
WEDNESDAY Parent Night – November 14th6:30PM-7:30PM Do you have questions about the new report card? Our school is hosting an information session for all parents. This session will detail the history of the changes with the new report card and provide an understanding of the proficiency scale.
MILK ORDERS: Milk Orders are due by Thursday! Round 2 begins November 19th.
Parent-Teacher Preference forms will be sent home to parents soon. Please return them as soon as possible so that teachers can work together to coordinate parent teacher times for sibling appointments. Report cards, with assigned times included, will be sent home on Monday, November 19th. Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place Thursday evening, November 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. AND Friday, November 23, from 8:30 until 11:00 a.m. We also coordinate requests to meet with specialist teachers.
