Hi everyone,
It’s Lisa Jardine calling from Leatherbarrow Primary with your Tuesday talk mail.
Thank you so much for coming to Parent/Teacher interviews last week! It was wonderful to see so many of you here. Thanks as well for supporting our book fair. All profits from the book fair will be used to buy new books for our school library.
Just in time for the holidays! Home and School is selling fresh produce packs from Kredls for $40.00. $10.00 from each box sold will go directly to our Inclusive Education and Play Initiative. Information sheets are being sent home with your child today. As always, participation is at your discretion.
Mad Science is being held after school today.
Our students will be going skating on December 5 and December 12. The costs of skating are covered by your school supply fee. If you haven’t paid, please make sure that you do so. In order to skate, children need skates, a helmet, snow pants and mittens or gloves. If you are able to volunteer with skating, please contact your child’s teacher. Any parent who wants to join children on the ice must wear a helmet and skates. Unfortunately, because of insurance purposes, no siblings or apparatus designed to assist students with their skating, are permitted on the ice.
Looking ahead: Our Kindergarten Christmas concert is being held at 9:00am, Wednesday, December 20th, at the Hampton Baptist Church. Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 concert is being held on the same day at the same location at 10:30am. Home and School will be selling tickets on VIP seating and parking in the next couple of weeks.
That’s all for today! Thanks for listening! Have a terrific Tuesday!
