Hi everyone,
Happy Spring! It’s Lisa Jardine calling from Leatherbarrow Primary School with your Tuesday talk mail.
Hot lunch forms went home yesterday and are due on Thursday.
Home and School is meeting this Thursday night at 6:30pm.
Report cards are being sent home on Monday. If your child is not meeting curricular standards for this point in the year, you will be receiving a call from your child’s teacher before these reports are sent home. Please take this opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and to discuss how we can continue to work together to help your child to succeed.
Student led conferences will be held next Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm, and next Thursday from 8:30-10:30am. Student led appointment preference forms were sent home yesterday and need to be returned ASAP so that we can include your scheduled appointment time in your child’s home report.
Finally, the Family and Child Education Program (FACE) is offering a series of workshops called CIRCLE OF SECURITY. In this series, parents of children birth to 6 years of age, will learn how to help your child to organize their feelings and understand what your child’s behaviour is telling you. This is a free 7 week program. It is being offered on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30am from April 5-May 17 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church Hall.
