KVHS Announcements - February 28, 2018
· Just a reminder that yearbooks can only be bought for the next 3 days. The price has dropped to $60 including all personalization. Yearbook is also doing a draw so if you’ve bought a book before Wednesday, your name will be put in for a free book! See your editors for more information!
· Are you interested in building your leadership skills? The Horizons student leadership conference is a one day leadership conference taking place on Friday, April 6th from 9am – 2pm at Saint John High. The cost is $25 and includes lunch. If you would like to register, please see Mrs. Wright in room 136.
· Hey Crusaders! We have our beach-themed coffee house February 28th from 6:30 – 8:30pm. For just FIVE dollars you can have some delicious food and great tunes.
· There will be a ping pong tournament at KVHS, on March 1st. See Mr. Standring to register.
· There will be a meeting for the waterpolo team discussing practice times on Thursday, March 1. If you are on the team, you must attend.
· The KVHS Badminton Club will have its first practice this Wednesday at 3:45pm. All students from Grade 9 – 12 interested in playing badminton are encouraged to come!
· KD is cancelled for Wednesday, February 28th and will start again after the March Break on Wednesday, March 14th.
· Computer Club on Wednesday at lunch in room 285. New members welcome!
· All basketball uniforms are to be returned to Mrs. Morrison this week.
· Field Lacrosse registration is now open through the Fundy Lacrosse Association website.
· Don’t forget the Moncton French Camp deadline on March 2nd! See Mr. Bouchard in room 226 for information.
· Jazz Band will be rehearsing in the music room after school today.
· Staff Yoga in the wellness center after school today.
· Just a reminder that there is no KD today.
· The boys hockey team lost in the conference final last night against Sussex High. Thank you to the students and staff who came out. The team still has a playoff run after the March Break in the regionals. Listen for game times.
· Happy Tacky Tourist Day! Teachers you should have envelopes to put your donations in. Please drop them off in the office.
· Attention all Blue Tones members: today’s rehearsal is for all members in the rehearsal room. Tomorrow at lunch we will have a soprano sectional in the rehearsal room at 12:30pm.
· A reminder to the Youth in Action for Mental Health group that you will meet in the workroom today at period 3.
