·       On the Menu today in the Cafeteria:  Greek Meatball Gyro on homemade Greek pita

bread in Fresh vegetables and Tzatziki.  2nd – Pasta trio – lasagna, broccoli chicken mac and cheese and beef macaroni.  Subline:  6” pizza sub – mushroom, peppers and ground beef.

 

·       Attention KVHS, Tickets for our Spring Musical – The Wizard of Oz are now on sale in the Library!!!  They are $15 for Orchestra, and $13 for balcony.  Get your tickets today!

 

·       For those still interested in helping out with the Musical, we still need help applying makeup for Friday and Saturday.  Please see Mme. Robichaud, Rom 111.

 

·       Interested in getting involved in the musical but aren’t sure how?  House Committee is a group of students who are in charge of selling tickets, handing out programs and helping people to their seat during the performance.  You can sign up for one performance or all of them.  If this interests you, come to a meeting today at 12:35 in Room 135 (in the math wing).  See Mrs. Baker or Mrs. Ryan if you have any questions.

 

·       Just a reminder to all Me to We members to check the group chat to see what tasks you are responsible for the upcoming change drive.  If you are not part of the group chat, please see Chantal MacLean this week to volunteer for a task.  Thank you!

 

·       Anyone still interested in applying for COOP can pick up forms at the Main office or see Mr. Doiron, room 291.  The parent form and career crusing must be handed in no later than April 25th.

 

·       The Kennebecasis Valley Minor Hockey Association is organizing a bottle drive “Bottles for Broncos” for the Humboldt Bronco Hockey Team that was in the terrible bus accident.  There will be a drop off spot at Daly’s Convenience and Irving on the 14th of April from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  All proceeds will go to the Humboldt Broncos.

 

·       Last night our students participated in the French Oratorical Competition at the District Level.  We would like to congratulate all of the participants- 3rd place Early French Immersion – Grace Anderson, Early French Immersion 10 – 2nd place Victoria Tramble, 3rd place Julia Hong,  Early French Immersion 11 – 1st place Chantal MacLean, 2nd place Emily MacIsaac and 3rd place Mya Rider.  Late French Immersion 11 – 1st place Gowan Suh.  Early French Immersion 12 – 1st place Lauren Whalen.  Late French Immersion 12 – 1st place Diyasha Sen.  Post intensive French 12 – 1st place Mika Park.

 

·       All Students going to Speak Out, there is a meeting for you today!  In Mrs. Hachey’s room.

 

·       Attention Improvisors! Today, Thursday is a mandatory practice because we have friends from Saint John joining us.  Be there or be square!

 

·       Could all members of Renaissance please meet today, Thursday, April 12th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.  New members are always welcome!

 

·       There is a GSA meeting today in Mrs. G’s room, 133, in the math wing.  New members always welcome.

 

·       KVHS Band students will be selling ice cream sundaes in the Cafeteria tomorrow and Friday at noon hour to raise money for their trip to PEI.  Sundaes are $2 each so bring a toonie and support the band!  Concert Band will be rehearsing in the Music Room today after school.  Our Music Festival performance is next week so all members must be in attendance.

 

·       Good Luck to the Senior Girl’s volleyball team as they host Simonds High today!  Come out to support your Crusaders at 6:00!

 

·       Registration for summer Field Hockey is now open to any girls or boys interest in playing.  Games are here at KVHS on Sunday nights starting May 27.  If you would like more information, please see Mr. Morton

 

·       All current members of the JV or Senior Field Hockey teams interested in playing summer League Field hockey, please see Mr. Morton in the Library following the announcements.

 

·       Could all members of the Junior Boys Basketball and Junior Boys Volleyball meet in the lower lobby for their yearbook photo following the announcements.​
