Anglophone South School District is located in Southern New Brunswick and includes schools from Grand Manan to Sussex Corner. There are seven Districts in the province, and we are one of three Anglophone School Districts. We were formed on July 1, 2012 with the amalgamation of Districts; we have an Education Centre Office in St. Stephen, Saint John and Rothesay (temporarily), and the Office of the Superintendent is in Saint John. Contact information for our offices can be found above under the “about us” tab. We have 74 schools, ranging from those under 100 students to a few large high schools with over 1000 students. We have 24 252 students from K-12 and you will find information on each of our schools by clicking on the tab marked “schools” above. Our school calendar and important upcoming dates can be found on the site, and we have included information on school closures as well. New information continues to be added.
Each District in New Brunswick has an elected District Education Council (DEC) – information can also be found on this site about the role of the DEC, our twelve members, the meeting dates and approved minutes.
