Hey Cougars! Do you remember the assembly when Retro Bill was here? Or how much fun we had during the Turkey Drive Activities? How about playing soccer at the Qplex last fall? All these memories and more are recorded in the 2014/2015 edition of the QMS yearbook. A flyer went home with your report card yesterday announcing that yearbooks are now on sale and are only available until April 15th. We have created a link on the QMS homepage and ordering your yearbook is as easy as a few simple clicks. If you have any photos from sports, band or other school activities, please see Mme. Spinks or Mrs. O’Regan to get them into the yearbook. Order your yearbook today!
 
Our school wide Scholastic Book Fair is in the Library at QMS this week! A display of books and gadgets will be open to students during break and lunch hour on Wednesday and Thursday and also during parent teacher Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please check out our bulletin board in the Cafeteria for some Great Book ideas. If any teachers would like to schedule a class visitation, please see me, many spots are still available.

7/8 band Wednesday after school.  No Jazz band or Rock band this week.  There is a very important and short meeting for all band students in grade 6 band, 7/8 band and Jazz band today, first half of lunch.  All must attend this short meeting.
 
Mrs. Miller needs to see all students participating in the Oratorical competition today at break in Room 102 for a quick meeting.
 
Sport News:
·         Mr. Long’s PE classes will be going snowshoeing this week, please come dressed for the weather.
·         The varsity girls and JV girls volleyball teams practice from 3:00 – 4:30 on Wednesday.
·         JV girls volleyball team list will be posted at break today.  Thanks again to all who tried out.
·         Attention all Rugby players – there will be a Rugby practice on Monday, March 30th from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
·         The varsity boys and JV boys volleyball teams will practice today from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
 
Wednesday will be “Twin Day” and all participants are asked to bring in $1.00 to their homeroom teachers.  All proceeds go to the “We Create Change Campaign”.
