·         There will be a very brief Beyond the Hurt meeting today at the start of lunch. New members welcome!

·         Any students interested in competing in the 2015 New Brunswick High School Programming Competition are encouraged to see Mr. Copeland in the computer lab for more information.

·         Reminder for the Co-op Ed students that Logs and Journals need to be passed in on Monday mornings. The first Monday after the March Break is an in class day. Please do not go to placements.

·         Would the Leadership students going to RES today, please be sure to come to the gym at the start of reading period to take attendance.

 ATHLETICS NEWS
·         The Boys' Hockey Team eliminated Saint John High School in game 3 of the playoffs at the LBR by a score of 13-1. Scoring 2 goals each for the Red Hawks were Trevor Melanson, MacKenzie Kelson, Miah MacGillivray and Josh Cropley while Zach Long, Gareth Robarts, Patrick Barry, Michael Roscoe, and Alex Cormier scored 1 goal each. The Red Hawks advance to the Southern Conference Final Championship game tonight against St. Malachy's High School at the LBR at 8:45 pm. Come out and support your Red Hawks!

·         Congrats to our boys hockey team who defeated SJHS last night in their best of 3 series and will play St. Macs at the AA Southern Conference Championship game tonight at the LBR in Saint John @ 8:45pm.  Prices:  $5 adult,  $3 students. Also, the game will be streamed online @ http://live.streamit.ca/?player=2225 if you cannot attend.  Red Hawk Pride!!  Go Red Hawks!!

·         Tonight 4-5:30pm is a JV Boys volleyball practice, 5:30 – 7pm combined JV and Sr girls volleyball tryouts. If you cannot make tryouts due to starting your March break vacation, you much inform Mr. Jordan.
Additional girls combined volleyball tryout on Monday, March 9th from 4-5:30pm
 
 
·         There is a meeting today at lunch in Mr. MacDonald’s room (129) for any grade nines and tens interested in learning more about rugby! A great way to get involved in sports and be part of an awesome team! Come on out!
