​GUIDANCE:

Any Grade 12 students who wants to be a school sponsored candidate for the Loran Award Scholarship – a Scholarship for students who show exceptional character, service and leadership – need to submit a Resume and a Letter of Intent outlining future plans to Guidance by Friday, September 21, 2018.

The Ivey School of Business will be here to visit interested students at 9:00 am on Friday, September 28^th.  Students who intend on attending must get permission from Period 1 Teachers.

St. Mary’s University will be here to visit with any interested students on Thursday, September 27th at 12:30 in the Workroom.  Bring your Lunch!

EVENTS:

Attention all Crusaders!  Tonight is the Pink Day Coffee House.  Admission is $5.00 to hear some awesome music, munch on some food, and of course bring your own board game to play with your friends.  It starts at 6:30 to 8:30 so don’t miss out!  Also, would all people performing tonight please meet at the Blocks now.

CLUBS – TEAMS

There will be a meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Pynn’s room for Me to We, Room 307.  New members are always welcome!

On Tuesday, September 25^th there will be a come one, come all Intro to Improv in the lower lobby from 3:30p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  All are welcome!

Come on out and help the environment.  Green Team is an easy club to join.  Meet Thursday after school in the Biology Lab.

Could all members of Renaissance please meet Thursday, September 20^th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136, in the Math Wing.  New Members are welcome!

MUSIC - DRAMA – THEATRE – ART

Attention Blue Tones Members:  Today’s rehearsal is at 4:00 in the Rehearsal room.  All members please attend.  If you are interested in joining, it is not too late.  See Mr. Sutton in advance of today’s rehearsal.

SPORTS

Any girls interested in trying out for the Hockey Team are asked to come to a meeting on Thursday at lunch in Room 133, Miss Galbraith’s room.  If you cannot attend please see Ms. Taylor in Room 134.

Final call for Hockey try out forms and fee payment.  Try outs begin Friday at 7:00 a.m.  You will not be allowed on the ice if you haven’t handed in your forms and fees.

Swim Team Practice today at Simonds High School pool.  5:00 start.  Come with participation form in hand.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Soccer team for winning 6 – 0 against Simonds High School.  Goals scored by Okyay “the monster” Kepenik with a hat trick, Nick Ritchie, John Jung, and Aiden Mackenzie.  Well done boys!
