​A Cougar Shout Out to all who participated in the various fundraisers (George tickets, Locker-Full-of-Prizes and recycling proceeds for the month of May).  We sent a cheque in the amount of $402.40 (which was matched by the government).  So, $804.80 was sent to the relief efforts in Nepal.  We are the Best!  Way to go!

Tickets for our last dance of this school year are on sale today at the beginning of lunch in Mrs. Miller’s Room (#102).  We must pump up the sales or we won’t have enough numbers to make it happen, so buy your ticket today at lunch.

May 30th ask your friends and neighbours to shop at Indigo from 10:00-4:00, buy anything in the store and 10% of the sales will go toward Triple C’s initiative to build a school in Haiti. 

Also on Saturday, May 30th there is a Bowl-A-Thon at KV Bowling Lanes for ALS (or Lou Gherig’s disease) from 12:30 – 4:00.  Proceeds will go directly toward research and local client care.  There will be a silent auction, 50/50 ticket sales and lots of prizes and fun.  Come join us and bowl for ALS.

• 7/8 Band, Jazz Band and Rock Band, you need to bring your instruments on Friday as you will be playing in a short concert during school
