On the Menu today in the Cafeteria:  Chicken Stir fry with Asian Noodles.  PASTA:  Spaghetti and Meat sauce.
 
Today we are welcoming staff and students from around the Province for the New Brunswick Provincial Renaissance Conference.  It is being held in the library all day so the library is closed and also cannot be used as a shortcut.
 
GUIDANCE:
Any Grade 12 students planning on attending University in Ottawa in September – Please see Mrs. Price in Guidance for an awesome, once-in-a lifetime opportunity.
 
If you are interested in writing the SATs to be eligible to attend colleges and universities in the US, please see the Guidance Department for more information on dates and locations.
 
The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership has arrived in the Guidance Office.  Applications are available for pick up.  They are due November 16th.
 
EVENTS:
There will be a meeting on Tuesday at lunch for Grade 11 students who are planning to help run Belinda’s Bash.  Look for us in the Science Lecture Theatre (264) at 12:35.
 
YEARBOOK:
Attention all Grads!  Your baby photos for the yearbook are due Friday, November 2, 2018.  Email them to us at KVHSyearbookstaff@gmail.com.  Place them in the folder outside the Yearbook room in the Math Wing or give them to any of the senior editors.
 
GRADUATION PORTRAITS:
Attention 2019 Grads: Hilite Gallery is starting your Grad Portraits today.  Please be on time and if you haven’t signed up yet, there is still room on October 22.  Signup sheets is at the school office.
  
CLUBS – TEAMS
There will be an important meeting for all Me to We members today (Friday, October 19th) in Mrs. Pynn’s room, Room 307.  New members are always welcome.
 
Classic Gaming Club meets today at lunch in Mr. Ouellet’s Room.
 
Are you looking to have a positive impact this Halloween?  Are you looking to get volunteer hours?  If these apply to you, come to Me to We meeting tomorrow (Friday, October 19th) in Mrs. Pynn’s room, Room 307 to learn about an opportunity to collect canned food items on Halloween night!  Everyone is welcome!

MUSIC - DRAMA – THEATRE – ART
Tickets for the Fall Play – Nothing Is the End of the World (Except for the End of the World) are now available in the Library and Office for $10.00.  The Play runs October 23, 24, and 25.  Come out and support KVHS’s Theatre Program.
