STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS
· This week is the last Spirit Week! Today is Jersey Day! Friday is Red & White Day with pics with Reggie and Tie-Dye at lunch! Show some Red Hawk Spirit!
· The 3 on 3 basketball tournament is today at lunch in the gym. Check out the bulletin board in the student lounge for the bracket and come out to support your fellow Red Hawk ballers!
· This Saturday there is a car wash here at the school from 10-2! Any volunteers interested in helping out please come to Mr. Ross’s room during the 15 minute break on Thursday.

GUIDANCE NEWS
· Grade 10’s & 11’s – St. FX University is hosting a Me to We Leadership Camp this summer on their campus. See their website or Mrs. Godwin for more info.
· Applications are available in the Guidance office for students interested in doing volunteer work at the hospital. Must be 15 years old to apply.
· Grads – if there is anyone going into a career in Hospitality and Tourism, there is a new bursary available from our local Amsterdam Inn. See Edline scholarship list and/or Mrs. Godwin for more info.
· Reminder to Grade 12’s of scholarship opportunities posted on Edline. There have been a couple new scholarships added to the list.

GRAD NEWS
· Grads don’t forget to sign up for the Grad Class Amazing Race by the end of Friday. Details are on the grad class bulletin board and facebook!

ATHLETIC NEWS
· A reminder to RHS athletes that there are feedback forms available under the “Sports” link on Edline to give feedback to the school and coaches on their performance. Your feedback is important. Please take the time to pass these into Mr. Jordan’s mail box in the main office. It may be anonymous or you may wish put your name on the feedback form. Thank you. Red Hawk Pride!!!
· Attention prospective football players: There will be a meeting about the possibility of an RHS football team this coming Fall with RHS football coaches on Wednesday, May 27th @ 12:30pm in room #130. It is imperative that, if you are in Gr9-11 and want to have a football team this coming school year, you be at this meeting in person. We need to build this team back up and the school needs your help to do that. Go Red Hawks!!
· The NBIAA Sr volleyball high school showcase is taken place at UNBSJ starting at 1:30 on this Friday through to Saturday evening.

· The sign-up sheet for Performing Arts Night on May 26th is on the Performing Art bulletin board. Reminder to everyone performing at the Performing Arts Night that there is a MANDATORY meeting today after school!! If you cannot attend, please let Mrs. Shea know! Tickets for Performing Arts Night will be available tomorrow!
