·        A big Shout Out to Allie H. for helping Ms. Mattina in organizing the Lost and Found articles on a table.  Boys and Girls, please check the table for clothing that you have misplaced.
 
·        Congratulations to our golf team - Connor H., Pete S., Nicholas R. and Keegan M. on winning the ASDS Golf Tournament!
 
·        In Soccer action - The JV boys soccer team lost to RNS on Friday 3-0. The team will host RNS today at the QPlex.
 
·        The varsity girls soccer team travel to Arthur Miller Upper field to play HMMS at 4:00 pm today.
 
·        The varsity boys soccer team practices from 3:00 – 5:00 at the QPlex.
 
·        Badminton club continues afterschool today!
 
·        The Moo Crew will begin selling milk in the cafeteria today. They will be set up to the right of the front cash and will only be selling milk for 50 cents a carton. Please form a single file line if you wish to purchase milk. Teachers are asked to allow the workers to leave 5 minutes prior to the lunch bell so that the Crew can get set up.
 
·        Band pullouts this week are:  Grade 6 on Tuesday, 2nd period; Grade 7/8 on Thursday, 2nd Period; Grade 6 on Friday, 5th period.  All bands have rehearsal this week afterschool - Grade 6 on Tuesday and Grade 7/8 on Wednesday.  Jazz Band will be Thursday.
 
·        Attention All Cougars – Our First dance will be Thursday, October 2nd from 6:30 – 8:30.  Tickets are $4.00 and will be on sale next week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.  Mark your calendars – teachers and students.
 
·        Today’s lunch in the Cafeteria is spaghetti & meatballs, breadstick & salad for $5.00.
 
·        On October 8th the Cafeteria will be offering a Roast turkey dinner complete with the fixins’ of mashed potatoes, homemade dressing, vegetables, dessert and a milk, all for $6.25.  Start saving your loonies for this delicious meal.
 
·        Sweet Caroline Run – is a run to help raise awareness about anaphylactic shock.  Register on line or at the Running Room for the run on Saturday, October 11th at 10:00.  All money raised goes toward a scholarship.
