· Shelley from the sexual health program will be here today from 9am to noon to provide free, confidential services such as birth control, help with pregnancy concerns, STI testing and treatment. Also at KV Oasis Youth Center from 3:30pm – 5pm today as well.

GUIDANCE
· Memorial University will be here today in the workroom at 12:30pm if anyone is interested in meeting with them.
· If you are interested in being nominated to be the school representative for the Schulich Leader Scholarship, please submit a letter of intent and a resume to the guidance department by Friday, December 14th. The Schulich Leader Scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math). 12/14
· Any Students interested in attending Queen’s University to study Commerce should check out the D & R Sobey Atlantic Admission Award posted in the Guidance Centre.
· The New Brunswick Teen Apprentice Program is now accepting applications for the 2019 Summer Work Term. Qualifying students in Grade 10 or 11 will be reached and mentored on the job over two or three paid summer work terms. NB TAP student apprentices will learn practical trade and workplace skills and get a head start on an exciting career in the skilled trades. EVENTS
· The 12 Days of Christmas starts today! At lunch come on down to the cafeteria for a game of “Find the Candy Cane in the Whipped Cream”. Tomorrow is Christmas Cozy Day so wear your coziest clothes!
· In support of Safe Grad 2019 – Jaryd Stanley in concert Thursday, December 6 at 7pm in the KVHS theatre. Tickets are $20 and are available in the KVHS office and at Guardian Drugs. Please call 651-6446 for reserved seating.
· Attention all Crusaders! There are now 150 more cab tickets available for purchase for $10. You need your student ID to purchase a ticket and you can get them from Mrs. Hawkes in the library. Your ID will be required at the door in order to get in.
· Do you have hidden musical talent? Have you been looking for a way to show it off? If so, go see Mrs. Lanigan in room 115 to get information on performing at the Christmas Crusader celebration!
GRADS
· Attention all grads! Book off December 19th for the Grad Class Christmas Party! This runs right after school from 4-5:30pm and admission is a gift valued at $5 for a yankee swap. There will be fun games like charades and nog pong along with a movie and cookie decorating. Hope to see everyone there!!
· Attention all grads! This is a reminder that your grad photos are due December 21st. If you have questions about how to submit them or you haven’t received a form to do so, contact the yearbook team!
CLUBS – TEAMS
· Could all members of Renaissance please meet on Thursday, December 6 at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136. New members are always welcome!
· There will be a meeting for all yearbook members today at lunch in Mrs. Galbraith’s room in the math wing! New members are always welcome!
· There will be an important meeting for all Me to We members tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in Mrs. Pynn’s room, room 307. New members are always welcome!

· Girls touch rugby and fitness will be held on Sunday from 12-1pm, all girls welcome, new players encouraged to join!
