​​Cougar Pride Shout Out and the Cougar Pride Trophy will go to Mme Pelrine’s room for them championing the Haiti House change campaign.  Bravo to the students for their get up and go to get this done!

 
Music News:
·        This is a reminder of concert band after school today
 
Sports News:
·        The varsity boys basketball team will practice from 3:00-4:30pm
 
·        The varsity girls basketball team will practice from 6:00-7:30pm - the team will play an exhibition game vs RNS tomorrow at RNS at 5:30pm.
 
·        JV girls will practice tomorrow from 4:30-6:00pm
 
·        JV boys basketball team will have tryouts tomorrow from 6:00-7:30 and again on Friday from 3:00-4:30pm

The school Chess Club begins tomorrow from 3:00-4:30 in Mr. Crowther’s room (110).  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Crowther.  All are welcome.
 
Triple C will take place today in Mme Dow’s room (212) at 11:50.  All are welcome.
 
There will be a rock hop this Friday at noon in the gym starting at 11:50.  The cost for this event is $2.00 and the money is going toward the final bricks for Haiti.  If you have any song suggestions, Triple C would be glad to take them.  There is a song suggestion sheet outside of the office, so please add to it if you have a favourite dance tune you would like to hear.  See you all on Friday.
 
The Holiday season is just around the corner and we are again planning a festive turkey dinner in the cafeteria. Last year students were greeted at the door, led to a table with friends and served a delicious meal of turkey, potatoes, stuffing and veggies followed by a cookie. Your choice of milk or juice will also be offered. Did I mention that staff members do all the work? No waiting in line to be served at the counter! All you need to do is sit and enjoy the holiday atmosphere with your friends, we will serve you at your table just like in a restaurant. Last year we sold over 175 tickets for this meal and we hope that it is equally successful this year! Tickets will be $6.00 and will go on sale in the main lobby on Friday of this week and will be available until Wednesday, Dec 2nd. The meal will be served on Wednesday, Dec 9th.
