KVHS Morning Announcements

GENERAL INFO
·        Staff fitness Thursday after school at 3:45pm. 20 minutes of cardio and strength with weights.
 
·        Are you looking for a part-time job this spring & summer? Are you able to work independently and communicate well with adults? If you answered yes, then come to the office and fill out an application to be a field monitor for the turf field. Any questions, see Mr. Reid. Return applications to the office.
 
·        Universite de Moncton is offering a 4 week NB Summer French Program for students in grades 9 & 10. This is a great opportunity for developing your French language skills and having fun while doing so. See your French teacher for more information. Applications must be submitted by March 1st.
 
·        The New Brunswick – Quebec Student Exchange Program is now taking applications from grade 9 and 10 students for the 2019-2020 school year. Please see your French teacher for more information about this exciting opportunity. Applications must be submitted by March 1st.
 
 
GUIDANCE
·        A representative from St. Thomas University will be available to conduct on-the-spot admission decisions and scholarship assessments today in the workroom from 1pm on. Please sign up in guidance.
 
CLUBS
·        Renaissance is doing a sock drive this week February 19-22. Bring in pairs of socks and the advisory that collects the most pairs will win a prize!
 
 
·        Attention cast members of Hello Dolly – today’s rehearsal after school is for everyone in Sunday Clothes. We will meet on stage in the theatre at 3:45pm.
 
·        Car Club – today 3:30 til 5pm weather permitting.
 
 
YEARBOOK
·        Attention Crusaders! The last chance to order your yearbook is fast approaching! The final day that we are accepting orders is February 28. The yearbook staff will be selling Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. The book will be on sale for $60 with personalization included. Don’t miss out!
 
ATHLETICS
·        Badminton: Monday at 5pm
 
·        Volleyball:
Girls open gym: Thursday at 4pm
Boys tryouts: Thursday at 7pm
 
·        Lacrosse: If you are interested in playing this season, please attend a meeting in room 274 at 12:35pm today.
 
·        Boys rugby: Friday at 4pm and Saturday at 6pm
