ATHLETICS NEWS
 
·         Skiers and snowboarders!! Please drop off your completed forms and cheques to the office. Remind your friends! We need 32 to get a bus!

·         Reminder: water polo meeting at the beginning of lunch today in the science lecture theatre. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

·         The JV Boys basketball team is hosting their tournament tomorrow and Saturday. They take on Fundy High at 12pm tomorrow.  It is $2 for all student who want to come watch. They also play at 7pm tomorrow. Come on out and support your Red Hawks!

·         Good luck to all swim team members heading to Woodstock for regionals on Saturday. Go Red Hawks!

·         Attention basketball players:  For those who have yet to pass in their athletic fee and registration forms, the deadline is this weekend to have these passed into either your coach, teacher rep, or Mr. Jordan.  If your family is experiencing financial hardship, please have your parents contact Mr. Peters at the school to discuss options.  Thank you.  Red Hawk Pride!
 
·         There is a JVBoys basketball tournament this Friday/Saturday that are looking for score keepers.  Please see Mr. Jordan to sign you up.  $10/score keeper/game.  10 games are on the schedule so there is a possibility of making $100 if you choose to score keep for all games or pick and choose.
 
 
 
·         A reminder to anyone wishing to score keep for RHS basketball home games but does not know how, please see Mr. Jordan. He will give you a “how to” clinic during lunch hour.  The pay is $10/score keeper/game.  The score keeper sign-up sheet is in the main office once you learn how.

GUIDANCE NEWS
 
·         Grade 11’s and 12’s – a rep from Dalhousie University will be here today, November 25 in Room 102.

OTHER NEWS
 
·         Sign up schedule for High School Musical auditions will be posted on the Perf Arts bulletin board outside room 127 this morning.  Auditions will take place Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
 
·         Girls who wish to practice for their singing audition may come to the music room at 12:40 today.
 
·         There will be a very important meeting for all band members today at morning break in the music room

·         First Aid training is this Friday, Nov. 27th.  If you have signed up to participate, please be in the cafeteria for 8:45am and you should wear comfortable clothing.

·         There will be a brief yearbook meeting at the start of lunch.

·         Mrs. Poirier’s 4th period class is raising awareness to end violence against women and girls. They are collecting donations for The Shoebox Project that will be given to women who are victims of violence. Donations can include lip balm, lotion, mittens, socks, hats, scarfs and candy. Please only bring in new items.
