GENERAL INFO
·        Popcorn will be on sale for $1 a bag at lunch
 
ACADEMICS
·        This is a message for all of Ms. Ryan’s Chemistry 122 students from Semester 1! If you are interested in writing the 2019 Canadian National Chemistry Contest, please see Ms. Ryan in room 239 before Friday, March 15.
 
·        Mr. Dobson’s Wellness class, Period 5 will be in Lab 415 today.
 
·        Pour ceux et celles qui aimeraient ecrire l’examen “AP French”, allez voir Mme. Robichaud au local 111 cette semaine pour plus de renseignements. Merci!
 
YEARBOOK
·        Did you forget to buy your yearbook? Don’t worry because there are 55 left! Get yours before they run out!
 
GRADS
·        The Josten’s jewelry rep will be here on Thursday at lunch this week. Design your jewelry online at Jostens.com, print your order and bring it with you. By ordering in person you save $45 off the online prices. Any questions or to get help with designing, please see Mrs. Wright in room 136.
 
·        Hey grads! Black and white affair will be March 18th from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Grads with last name A-M bring a main course and last name N-Z bring dessert! Make sure to wear black and white and don’t forget this is a semi formal event.
 
 
GUIDANCE
·        Attention current Grade 11 students: If you are interested in applying to NBCC, there will be an information session Monday at 12:30pm in the workroom. Applications for NBCC open on April 1st of your grade 11 year. Now’s the time to start thinking about programs and applying!
 
CLUBS
·        There will be a Me to We meeting today at the beginning of lunch for all members in Mrs. Pynn’s room. New members are always welcome!
 
·        Ski Team will go to Poley Mountain on Tuesday next week.
 
·        Classic Gaming Club meets today at lunch in Mr. Ouellet’s room. Bring your lunch and friends to play some old school games.
 
·        Attention KVHS Chess Team: Don’t forget that “The Chess Guy” from the Saint John Chess Club will be here today for dry land training, in preparation for the Chess Provincials. Please meet in Mr. Marin’s class #245 in the wing above the Math Wing.
 
·        Thank you to all the advisories that brought in socks for the sock drive. We collected a total of 110 pairs of socks. Congratulations to Mrs. Jones advisory who brought in the most pairs of socks, at 25 pairs! We will be in touch about your prize.
 
·        There will be a meeting on Monday, March 18 for all those interested in Spoken Word Poetry, Oratory or Debates in room 411. Please see Mrs. McCord for more details!
