KVHS Morning Announcements
March 20, 2019
ACADEMICS
·        Attention Mrs. Mawer’s students – we are back in business! All classes are back in Mrs. Mawer’s classroom, thanks to the quick work of all those involved in the repairs!
 
·        Are you interested in building your leadership skills? On April 17th at KVHS we are hosting a one day student leadership conference with the Canadian Student Leadership Conference with the Canadian Student Leadership association. The cost to attend is $25 and includes lunch. To register please see Mrs. Wright in room 136 by April 10th.
 
GRADS
·        Hey grads! This Thursday will be a grad class denim day. Make sure to come dressed in all your denim.
 
·        Grads! If you got grad clothes in the second order, come to Mrs. Lanigan’s room, 115, during advisory to collect them.
 
GUIDANCE
·        There are many new scholarships that have been posted outside the guidance centre including one for former Fundy Minor Football players, referees, one for students pursuing the trades and one for former Fairvale Elementary students. Come and check them out!
 
ATHLETICS
·        There will be a meeting for all members of the KVHS Water Polo team on Wednesday at lunch in Mrs. Leblanc’s room in the Tech wing. All members must be in attendance. Those interested in joining are welcome.
 
·        Attention all girls rugby players, there is a practice after school today from 4 – 5:15pm in the fitness center. See you there!
 
CLUBS
·        Could all members of Renaissance please meet today, Wednesday, March 20 at 12:30pm in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136. New members are always welcome!
 
·        The Me to We Club will be running a KD drive next week starting Monday, March 25 and ending Friday, March 29. This will be an advisory competition and the advisory who collects the most boxes of Kraft Dinner will win a prize! Advisory teachers: be on the lookout for a Power Point coming this week with more information!
 
·        Attention Blue Tones members: today’s rehearsal after school is for everyone. Meet in the rehearsal room at 3:45pm.
 
·        Ski Club is ON for today!
